We're horse enthusiasts first. We know the early mornings, the long drives to shows and the bond you build with an animal you trust. We built Arion Assurance because we saw the people we ride alongside let down by a system that was never designed around them.

What horse owners face. A horse's history is scattered across vets, trainers, sellers, registries and past insurers, and no one holds the whole story. Insurance forms are long and full of jargon. Owners often don't know which details matter until it's too late. And at a sale or auction, decisions are made quickly, on information that's hard to check.

What insurers face. Underwriters want to say yes, but they rarely see a horse's full record. They rely on what's disclosed, piece fragments together by hand, and price in the uncertainty of what they can't see. Medical records often get read closely only when a claim arrives.

The disconnect. When owners and insurers start from different information, misunderstandings are almost guaranteed. An owner believes they're fully covered. The insurer later finds a condition or detail that was never on the application. And it surfaces only after something has already happened: an injury, a loss or a claim. The result is denied claims, disputes and lost trust, at the worst possible moment.
